WHITE
Written by Sara So Far

Remember my prayers of autumn

Remember my prayers in the night

The trees are bare, I’ll lay my head to rest

on the pillow of white

A sigh on the road would teach me

A spark in the distance would say

It’s done my love, for now the time has come

to yield to the light of day

I close this door and say no more

For future’s sake I’ll stand

on pages blank where ink once drew

these words from a trembling hand

Remember my prayers of autumn

Remember my prayers in the night

The trees are bare, I’ll lay my head to rest

on the pillow of white
